'Breaking Dawn' soundtrack recalls previous 'Twilight' movies
Саундтрек четвертого фильма «Сумерки. Сага. Рассвет. Часть 1» вышел во вторник 8 ноября.
The "Twilight" saga's fourth film, "Breaking Dawn Part 1's" soundtrack drops Tuesday (Nov. 8). "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon tells MTV News the album (and by extension, the movie) has a lot of callbacks to the earlier films in the series. The most notable one is the use of Iron & Wine's ballad "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)," which was first heard in the first "Twilight" movie when Bella and Edward dance together. Condon says, "I always thought of this movie as the bookend to the first movie, and that was such a great powerful, romantic song for those characters. It just felt right to kind of refer back to it at this important, important moment."Which important moment in "Breaking Dawn Part 1" is he referring to? He won't say, so we'll just have to wait and see. Condon adds, "There's a jazz quartet that plays a couple of tracks from 'Eclipse.' Carter Burwell has come back to do the score. He did the first movie, so 'Bella's Lullaby' features in this movie too."We can hardly wait. Below is another song off the soundtrack, the official video for Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years." Will you be picking up a copy of the "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack?
