Robert Pattinson hopes Twilight sex scenes ‘live up’ to hype

Washington, October 28 (ANI): Robert Pattinson hopes that the sex scenes between him and real-life girlfriend Kirsten Stewart in ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ don’t disappoint fans who have been waiting for them.
Pattinson plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movie while Stewart plays Bella Swan, who becomes his wife in ‘Breaking Dawn’. The British actor says he was nervous playing out the intimate scenes of the couple’s first night, especially as they were not in the original novel by author Stephanie Mayer.
“It’s strange trying to do a singular event which everyone is expecting. At the end of the day, watching other people have sex is never going to be that spectacular. Hopefully it’ll be good. There’s so much hype. You’re like, ‘God, I hope this lives up to it!”
The other scene that had him on the edge was the gory depiction of Bella giving birth to the half-human, half-vampire baby.
“It was horrible. Insanely graphic and the most nerve-wracking thing about the whole shoot!” Contactmusic quoted him as telling the Total Film magazine.
